The Footprints to the Future program offers our Alumni and Caring Individuals a unique opportunity to commemorate their own camp experience while helping to ensure Camp Susan Curtis’s future!
Every summer, teens in our Career/Counselor-in-Training program (CIT's) make handmade “stones” that are being used to create a pathway from Trout Lodge around the shores of Trout Lake.

Footprint Stones
Each stone features a long-time camper’s hand-crafted design and the donor’s sentiment. Proceeds from the Footprints to the Future are used for a College Scholarship for our Campers.
The first stones in our Footprints to the Future pathway were put in place during the Trustees, Alumni & Friends Day June 27, 2003! The first reciepient of the Susan Curtis College Scholarship Award, Keirsten Murphy was honored and is now a graduate of the University of Southern Maine. Since 2003, each of our CIT student-campers has placed his/her stone on the pathway.
If you would like to purchase a Footprint stone and help sponsor a deserving child's future, contact the Susan Curtis Foundation office at (207)774-1552 for more information!
